Pentax 540af P-TTL issues

So I've had my flash for a while now, and never had problems until recently: I can't get the P-TTL to work. The first time I noticed the issue, it wouldn't turn off of TTL. Then just the other day I had the flash on my camera, it WAS on P-TTL, then all of a sudden decided to change to TTL, and even go as far as to change the format to 35mm. I'm using a K20 with a Sigma 24/f1.8.

Any thoughts on what's going on?

Perhaps a loose connection when mounted? Try cleaning the contacts.

I agree on checking the contacts. The K20 doesn't even support TTL...
