I have bought an interesting remote control with timer which can be used as wireless or cable remote !

It is the TW-282 from Pixel Hong-Kong.

2.4 Ghz frequency with 99 channels plus 1 universal. 100 m range.
Delay, interval, number of shots, timer, bulb or direct, single or continuous shot with half-press for focusing and exposure.
2 AAA batteries for the transmitter (3+ years lifetime)
1 CR2 lithium-ion battery for the receiver (400 hours of operation)

Can be used for more than one camera brand : you only have to buy the cable. I received gratis a second cable for Nikon...

The price is 65 €.

Not yet. I will do it soon, but the interesting thing is that you can use it as cable remote...

Can't seem to find a retailer...

DealExtreme actually has it but only for Nikon:

I found two on ebay (US) and five worldwide. Beween $78-$90.84.

On Gadget Brando for $59...

The model is TW-282/E3 for Pentax.

Okay, I received the remote yesterday...

Very impressive with quality and funcitons... BUT the users manual kinda sucks.. like most chinese product manuals...

Anyone has fully figured out how this thing works?

I have two questions basically:

1- how to simply set it up to shoot 500 shots in a fixed interval (it gives me only up to 99 shots, weird)

2- what is the LONG, DELAY, INTERVAL and other variables in one of the mode? How does it work? Why so many variables?

Did you ever figure this out? I am interested in the same item, but want to be sure it could do over 99 interval shots.

I read somewhere that if you use "0" as the number of shots, it will set it in infinity mode. Is that true?

I hvae not figure it out yet, but I may try your trick and set it to 0 and see what happens...

Maybe this is the thing to do..

Their manual really sucks!
