Sirui Tripods

Have been searching for a tripod that I can keep in my ski pack and stumbled across Sirui's line of products.
My Wish List:
Weight: Under 3lbs
Folded Length: Under 17"
Max. Load: 15lbs
Anyone out there own or have demo'd a T1205X or N2205 tripod?
Recently took a good look at a M2204 and was impressed with the built quality on this carbon fibre model, just a tad too long (folded) for me though.
Any others brands that come close at under $400 Cdn ?

I have never heard of Sirui so it looks like we have another option.

Feisol USA has a line of tripods that might fit you buget. I have owned one for about 2 years and and love it.

I've just purchased the N-2204.

I'll post something when I've had a chance to give it a work out!

Popular Chinese brand, i saw one in the store but can't recall the model # i always do my lean test...it wasn't reassuring done on this tripod. I prefer still aluminum/aluminum-alloy tripods too light and you'll need to weigh it down too much especially in heavy blustery wind.
