Pentax O-RC1 Remote Buttons

What do the 2 extra buttons on the O-RC1 remote do? It does not say much on the Pentax web-site, only that it works with a number of cameras including the K-7 (which is the one I have).

I've got the older remote but its not waterproof and there is only a shutter button.... Would be nice to have a button to trigger AF for example.

I think the added buttons might only work with Pentax P&S cameras, but I don't see why something like the Fn button shouldn't be programmable.

Does anyone have one of these yet?
