It may be a lens for some other mount (brand) but wrongly put in a Pentax AF box.

Can you post a pic of this lens' mount? then we can tell for sure.

Notice the type and location of the contacts. Doesn't look like any Pentax lens I have seen.

Without knowing what mount it is, there is no way of knowing if a successful adaptation can be made.
To me it looks like an EOS mount, which is not going to adapt to Pentax.
You may as well send it back to the vendor and wait for something you can use.

Looks like a Sigma mount to me. It's called SA bayonet - that's what the lens cap says.
Also have a look here, around 1/3 down, there is photo of two Sigma mount lenses: Sigma SD14: Quick Look at a Quirky Wonder - AnandTech :: Your Source for Hardware Analysis and News

Whatever mount it is, don't bother trying to attach it to a Pentax DSLR, even with an adapter.

If you could mount it at all (with or without adapter), you'd lose autofocus, auto-exposure. I don't think you can even control the lens's aperture for manual shooting.
