I ordered the new luma loop on the day it became available last week. Received it on Friday. Today, I went for a long 3 hr hike with a D700 and a 28-70 (it is big). This is a terrific camera strap.
Always unintrusive, very comfortable. And very simple. Quick release mechanism is a neat idea.


I considered Black Rapid as well. Both looked good and are somewhat similar. Both have a simple clean design. I did not go for black rapid because the only option to attach it to the camera is through the tripod thread mount. With luma loop I have the option to attach it to any mount point.

Highly recommended.
