Woah, great as a hobby project.
I bought one of these Mennon screw on hoods for my M50mm- Cheap, very functional, and great looking, Amazon link.

Well, hey, sometimes it's hard to find a good fit. Some designs are fussier than others.

I just ordered a generic version from EBAY - ones marked DC(II) 49 - hoping they are all copied the designs from each other
