Looking for a photo bag

Hello Pentax people!

I am thinking of buying a new bag, which can hold my gear : the K100d & kitlens, Pentax A 35-105 zoom and the DA 21mm. Of course it should also be spaceous enough for extras such as batts, memory cards, some filters. Another plus would be the possibility to put personal belongings in it such as a wallet and phone.
I don't really like shoulder bags (currently using one) as they tend to put too much weight on one shoulder after carrying a while, I guess the same counts for sling bags.
So I think I am looking for a compact backpack, not too big, with easy acces (from the top??)

Other bag type better? Don't hesitate to spit it out

Any ideas, advise ?

Thanks a lot !
Tom

The LowePro slingshot series, 100, 200, 300, depending on what size you need. The 200 perhaps. It can be carried as a backpack but allows for great access to the camera similar to a shoulder bag. best of both worlds.

A backpack with access from the top is difficult to find, usually you can find sling bags for that purpose. On the other side, if you have a backpack on your back a top-access might not be that necesary. I have a Naneu pro alpha (backpack) that has the access in the part of bag facing my back. I think that you would have a bad time trying to find them in Europe. For what I read, the Kata, Cumpler, Think tank, Tamrac and lowepro are also brands to trust, and particularly the bag that And is recommending might fit very well your needs. You can take a look to the Marketplace in the forum, somebody was selling its bags (tamrac) at a good price.

Hope it helps
