I was researching LCD Screen Viewfinders to put on my K-x and saw that many of them were real expensive and while the lcd viewfinder isnt really a necessary item spending between 1-250 bucks for one wasnt gonna happen anytime soon or ever. Thank god for instructables! I made myself useful and whipped this together a custom viewfinder for the LCD screen last night for my K-x. The why, recording video in day light sucks, with the viewfinder this makes it not so sucky.


Here’s a pic of all the materials and then it stands completed on my K-x and besides a few scuffs in the paint all went well.

I made mine a lil different than the model i added some trim around my corners and I also had to cut a slot for the viewfinder I have attached to my K-x cuz its larger and a different size than the original.
