Cullmann 2504 tripod... Any good?

Spotted one of these in my price range. I remember seeing them back in the late 80s, but don't know much about them. Any experience with this tripod?

Cheers,
Bobbo :-)

I've had a Cullman 2501 tripod for many years now. I bought it in the late 1980s as I recall and it has served me well for a long time. Over time one of the tabs which hold the leg sections in place has lost its grip. I no longer trust it to support my gear. You might want to take a close look at this before you purchase as the models (2504/2501) may be similar.

Thanks for the heads-up on the leg lock issue, Tom.

Have a good one!
Bobbo :-)
