what about something like this Delkin Devices Digital SLR Pro Pop-Up Shade DND300S-P B&H Photo

Actually just realized that said it was for a nikon, but maybe something similar to that, that will fit pentax?

My wife used to have one of those on her camera and I hated it. It really didn't do much shading either, to be honest. She eventually took it off. I guess some people must like 'em, though.
