K10 Battery

My battery info on the camera gives me no warning; it just dies. Anyone else experience this?

Tks!

Yes indeed. Mine goes from indicating full to indicating half, and then I have either zero or occasionally one more shot before it indicates empty.

Before I got the second battery it was very annoying. Now I carry the second one all the time if I've taken more than a couple of hundred shots since the last charge - and if I need to be sure not to miss a shot, I'll put in the fresh one.

Call me Mr. Overkill.

I have 4 batteries for my K10.

I use 2 at a time (1 in camera - 1 in battery grip) and they last a long, long time.

Nope. I'll just call you Mr Disorganised.

Guess how I know? I need about 16 rechargeable NiMH AA batteries on the go, just to be sure that my wireless mouse keeps on working.

I took the morning off Friday to do a little fall shooting at the local park. I forgot to charge my one battery the night before. I was out shooting for about 1 hour when my battery died without warning. I picked up a second battery the same day. I won't let that happen again. What a waste of a morning off.

Me too...today it just died on me. If you shut down and wait a bit you might get a couple of shots when you switch on again. By the way does anyone know why my K10 sometimes does not auto power off?
