Does anyone know if this item is compatible with the Pentax K-X? I understand it says Nikon, but the description implies it is compatible with other cameras with a mini-usb connection. Just curious

Can the Kx accommodate a wired shutter via USB?
If so, this might very well work!

If not... then I guess you could rely on bhphoto's return policy for backup.

I am not sure the K-X supports wired shutter via USB. I know it is capable of tethering via USB with a computer. Not sure if there is any similarities. Thus the question. For the price I am tempted to give it a shot, but if anyone has tried I would like to know before attempting this.
