Possible cure for LBA

I picked up and old 300mm f2.8 and now I dont have room in my camera bag for half the stuff I usually carry. With no room I can't justify buying anything else. I am curious though how everyone else carries their big lenses??

You are too optimistic about the possible cure of LBA since you can always buy larger bag(s)

Can't do that -- they know where I live. I'd have to steal one from another market. And then push it up the mountain on the state highway, then down the pot-holed gravel road to my place, carefully avoiding the bear scat. Then after loading the 300-400-500-1000mm lenses and other stuff, I'd have to push it either back up the hill, or downhill through more pot-holes, or across through unmanicured evergreen forest (again avoiding the bear scat) to take pictures of... what? More trees? No thanks. A pack llama is the answer. Or a bearer. "Oh Ansel, would you please hand me the Lil'Bigma?" As long as the bearer can mix martinis...

Might well be the "value added" feature that some economically depressed caddies
have been looking for.Certainly possible that some of those drivers all ready qualify
for the name "Lil Bigma",wouldnt have to change working vocabulary. With the short
learning curve(slice) as it is,really think your on to something this time.

The only way I know of to stop LBA is not have any money left to support it. Or death.

You are half right. Death or total paralysis are the only cures. Poverty or imprisonment may hold LBA in abeyance temporarily, but they are not cures. Dismemberment or severe brain damage may limit LBA a bit, but they are not cures. You must be realistic. *I* must be realistic. I'm broke now. But LBA still burns within me. I must sell something, in order to buy some more. Let's see, how much can I get for a grandson??

My big lenses are in a second bag.
Bag 1 carries 2 bodies (K5 and K7 at the moment), and lenses from 15mm up to the 60-250.
Bag 2 carries the 200 f/4 macro, 300 f/4.5, 5400/ 5.6 and 600/5.6 as well as the 1.4s teleconverter.

I just bought a Yota Landcruiser ( a very old one, I'm not rich ) and when we went away for 5 days a few weeks ago I packed more luggage than my wife, the three military surplus ammo boxes, one Kata rucksack, one case of filters and three tripods barely left any room for her shoes!
