Hi PeteD and thanks for the help.
the only thing is, all the batteries that I found where only 1400 and 1500ma, and pentax recommends at least 2500ma, as the real deal is 2700ma.
wondering if it will make a difference?

thanks

randy

The minolta battery is 1500 mAh
The pentax K10D battery is 1620 mAh
Both are the same voltage so basically you get 92.5% the shots with the minolta battery as you do with the Pentax battery.
