Just bought a crumpler industry disgrace, since I love my indestructible crumpler 6 million dollar home, and so far the strap seems to very comfortable and sturdy

I dont use straps. I think I got them stuck on stuff WAY more than the number of times I almost dropped the camera. When I was using straps I think I almost dropped it once a month. Without straps probably once every three months. When I was using the straps I try to have the camera on my neck all the time, but life just doesnt work that way I'm thinking to get an optech for events when it will be on my neck all the time though, looks way more comfortable.

I'm using an Optech USA Pro model. The strap itself is quite large and comfortable.

When I need to shoot portrait, I simply roll two or three turns of the strap on my wrist, until I have enough clearance to hold firmly the camera without being too tight.
