yeatzee,

I finally found a used 410 tripod head for a fairly reasonable price but there is no manual for it. If you have a scanner or an access to one, could you please scan and upload a copy of the manual? Or if you have a link to one please point me in that direction, I did not see one on Manfrotto website.

What info are you looking to have with it? Im not at home but I don't remember there being a manual other than a simple page directions on how to attach it

I am trying to figure out the gearing override to move the axes quickly. The inner ring doesn't want to move, I don't know which way to turn the ring, clockwise or counter-clockwise.

clockwise with the knob pointing at you.

Thanks, that's good to know. The head looks very solid but I didn't want to try to force anything.
