Question about O-GPS1.

When you use the Astrotracer function of the GPS, the focal length of the lens in use is the limiting factor for the exposure time. Does anybody know what would be the maximum focal length of the lens that can be used? It would be interesting to be able to use a small telescope. Thankd for any info.

They don't list it in the documentation. I just got one of them, my plan is to go out at some point later this week and do some start shots. Just waiting for a clear evening.
I'll test it from 15 right up to 600mm

Guess a limiting factor depends on the manual lens/body. Have nothing at the maximum length, pre Pentax-F or otherwise, but noticed on the K-r that the maximum FL, for shake reduction, was 800mm.

About the GPS.

I think that 800mm would be about right. I ordered mine from Henry's in toronto this morning. I really need it because I get star trails with a 5 seconds exposure and a 300mm lens. Take care.
