Soft Neck straps

Went with a recommendation for a cloth neck strap to replace the very uncomfortable straps for the K-5 and X100. Could not be happier, the Artist and Artisan straps are a) gorgeous b) comfy and c) protect the camera body with a leather strip, so no marks...

Happy as, I am

I bought mine from an Australian supplier - Mainline Photographics - which still had red straps with black trim. A&A own website has them much cheaper. but they have changed the design to have same colour trim. Also, I'm noticing that those on the A&A site are not adjustable... not sure if they can still be bought...

I like it, looks very nice.

I'm really pleased with my OpTech Envy memory foam strap. It really distributes the weight well so that I honestly don't really notice the increased weight of a 55-300 lens vs a DA 15. The only problem is I do find it causes me to sweat where it touches my neck. Otherwise, very comfortable. And that sweating won't be a problem in the winter months.

I have an Ape Case strap that is a bit wider than Pentax stock and has a little stretch to it. Being neoprene, it also smelled like a wetsuit until it aired out enough...

There is another type of strap that instead of hanging heavy camera + lens from neck, eventually causing hunchback, goes both sides of neck around and under arms back to fastening point on camera -- basically two loops, one for each side of camera. These hold camera against chest so it doesn't swing aound, but camera can quickly be raised to eye for photo making. I believe these are also sold for binocular use.

Yes, they are a US product. If you do some searching you should find some easily enough.
