Hoya filters are excellent- and it's worth it to have high-end filters on your * lenses

There's a good polarizer test that was done by lenstip.com:

Polarizing filters test - Results and summary - Lenstip.com

I'm always extra cautious about purchasing things from E-bay, never know when you'll get a knockoff these days. I also thing there was a test done about stacking filters, I believe the general conclusion was that it is bad to do so - but I'm not 100% on that.

I just read through that & bought the Marumi Super 49mm for using on my DA35 ltd & M lenses. Up to now I´ve used only cheap polarisers but wanted something better, and smaller.

From what I´ve read, the best are B+W, Marumi & Hoya (the Pro-1, not the cheaper ones). Of those, B+W are by far the most expensive and only very slightly better than the other two, so I would go with one of them.

FWIT, take a look at this link.
How to Use Filters
Somewhere on my files, I have a comparative chart (from Googling) but couldn't find the darned thing. If I see it, I'll post it later.

All good. (Also, there's no benefit to stacking them with a UV, and even the best clear filters take something away, so if you want best image quality.... Don't. Unless maybe you want to protect your good expensive polarizer from blowing sand or something.
