Is it any wonder Sears is on the verge of bankruptcy...

How does someone price a product so outrageously...

Online Price

And this story talks about how they see online sales as the way to save the business!

It's not Sears that sells those filters.

They sell trash anymore, I quit buying tools from them because of the horrible quality. Wal-mart's cheap tools are better quality than a craftsman tool. And don't get me started on their washers and dryers. They are pure rubbish now as well.

Sears has been limping along the road to bankruptcy for years now exactly the same way that Montgomery Wards did. It's a pity because they used to be a great department store, but honestly except for buying our wall AC there last year because it was on sale I haven't been in a Sears for a long, long time. No one knows how to sell what they're there to sell anymore and the quality of the clothes has gone way down.

I was in a sears in the U.S. and turned around and walked out. I just had a strange feeling about the place. It was over 10 years since I purchased anything. There are no camera stores where I live. Tony closed his doors due to porr sales and he was the last to leave.

Can't speak for other Countries, but from what I see, they seem to be doing well in Canada..

I got a great deal on my Panasonic 46" plasma TV at a Des Moines, Iowa Sears & the sales guy was even sorta knowledgeable. I also got a new $600 fridge with a tiny dent on the lower rear corner for under $300 with a full warranty at the local Sears. I can't complain about 'em.

Cheers,
Bobbo :-)

Not really. The store that I occasionally go into in Etobicoke, is over priced. Hudson's Bay has the same selection (better in some ways) at better prices. I am usually looking at appliances and kitchen equipment (mixers and such). Plus it's nice to shop at a store that is 350+ years old!
