Does anyone have a good source for M42 lens caps? I have several lenses I bought recently that are missing one or both caps so I'm looking for some. I'd like to avoid the ebay buy it now option if at all possible.

Front caps are by filter size, so just go to the store and buy some 49mm or 52mm or .... lens caps. Take the ones that don't have protruding releases - I'm constantly knocking mine off.

It looks like KEH has them for sale, used.

I know why you don't like eek-bay, but there are some stores with NEW third party caps for sale.
And I can't picture there being much wrong with them.

Hi,
Third party caps are at least 2-3 times more expensive in shops in France than on Ebay, so I normally get mine from Lenscaps in UK but they do not ship to US. There are loads of sources in US as well, like Shiva Kunal...
These are generic caps, so if you want original caps, you'll have to look somewhere else...

Like it was said before, I cannot see any problem happening with these big Ebay shops. I bought a lot from them and never had any trouble.
