thanks! i'd say i used the timer about 80-100 times that night and it worked very well.

Well, I went ahead and bought one myself from Amazon. Mine says "Neewer" across the top but appears to be identical to the one described. Tried it out briefly on the K5 and it seems to be working fine. It takes AAAs which means another type of battery in the bag but other than that I can't see any downside for $15 Since PK Tether is not really working right with the K5 this will be very useful for moon shots with the K5. Thanks Mike.
