SaleADay Camera Hard Case $29

1 Sale A Day is a site that I have had some luck with in the past getting great deals. Got refurb'd iPads for the staff at the clinic for $120 less than ANYONE else for example.

They currently have a <10 hour sale on a camera hard case from Digital Concepts for $29.99. Looks like a descent deal if you need a hard case.

Not really a deal at all. Based on the dimensions, this is an AX-2626 which can be purchased from other websites for a bit less shipped. There are other hard cases for about the same price that get better reviews on Amazon.

really looks like a cheap hard case IMO
no foam on the bottom, pretty small, not a ton of protection. worth about $30 tops.

I'm partial to Pelican cases and Gator cases for this type of thing, but they are pricey

Thanks. Appreciate the feedback. The storm cases that I have are in the same class with Pelican cases and I've been able to find them on sales at times for up to 60% off. Last one I got handles 3 lenses, came with the easy cut foam inserts, and was $37 shipped. If you go huge they are expensive but then they get too big to be very useful in my experience. The several I have are on the smaller end of the line and are terrific.

main reason i would want a big pelican would be for extended travel. If I was headed off for a good length of time somewhere and wanted to be able to take a broad assortment of gear(RF, DSLR,Medium format for example). otherwise i tend to travel light enough for carry on - though i am tempted by the newer rolling bags that mimic carry on for camera gear
