Remote Quick Storage

I was out shooting this morning and had to keep stowing the remote in my pocket as I did different set-ups. Came home and made use of some Velcro strips I bought recently (Velcro is made in U.S.A., btw). Now I can quickly place the remote close at hand without loosing it. (I still keep it in the camera bag when I'm done.) (I know, it's an old tripod - a Velbon, kinda heavy but I don't hike around with it and it has a new head on it so it's up to date.)

Good idea! I used a lens cap keeper on mine which worked for a while but eventually came off. THis sounds like a better idea.

I always keep mine in my pocket, but this is actually a great low tech practical idea.
