Katana Gimbal Head

Here is a write up I did for the Katana Gimbal Head

I put the write up here, because a previous write up I did was put here too.

I don't know where these sorts of postings should go.

Katana Gimbal Head Review

Enjoy!

Nice review. Well done.

Should it not go into Tripods and Rigging - Pentax Camera Accessory Review Database at PF?

No idea. I never know what a moderator will do.

You could always use the Contact Moderator function and ask us.

That would have been the appropriate place, but as the thread has had replies I can't move it there. Since it's about an accessory and not about a K5, I've moved it to the Camera and Field Accessories forum.

I say make another post there with the same info. I know some people frown on extra posts but this is helpful information and two posts would increase the chances of someone finding it if they are looking for reviews on the product.

Gimbals are indispensable and I can't believe I waited as long as I did to get one. mine didn't cost that much but the functionality is the same.

In this case, a re posting into the above mentioned review database would be just fine.

Awesome! I like the first line in the care section "Eventhough this is built like a tank".

I'm sorry I waited this long (25+ years).

Thanks! I'm not a "birder", and that was my first day out with the Bigma and Gimbal, so I'm happy to have come away with "something".

The Katana Gimbal, tracking a bird in flight, at 750mm with a HUGE crop, is something else!
