Alienbees with Pentax K-7

I picked up an Alienbee B800 flash unit and a softbox...I have it all set up, except the sync cord doesn't fit with my camera! Has anyone had this problem?

it should fit right into the pc sync socket unless you either:
a. have the wrong kind of cord and are trying to put it into the wrong port
b. have a defective connector
c. have a broken pc port

The PC port I was shipped is round. The one on my camera is more rectangular.

wrong port, the pc port is the one hiding under that round thing above the raw button, just screw the black round thing off
