Are these Chinese stroboflip copies any good?

I've just picked up a Pentax 540 flash for my K100d and I'm in the process of finding a TTL cord, as I shoot Portrait a lot. Needless to say, I'll need a flash bracket and I shoot Portrait with my right side of the camera on top, so I think I'd find the quickflip-style brackets awkward. I've been eyeballing ones like this wondering if they were worth the risk, or if I should just track down the genuine article instead. I admit I'm cheap (especially now as I'm saving up for a K20d), but I've got enough brain cells to know that cheap crap is still crap. Anyone got any first-hand experience with these? Thanks in advance.

Just tried your link to see what you're talking about. It didn't work. Went somewhere else altogether.

I have one of these... in fact just a copy of it. I use a Versaflip and it works great. It is built sturdily and is made of high quality materials. The Stroboflip is much more expensive than the versaflip but I don't think the quality differs much...

The perfect setup

I have a K10D and 540 flash mounted on a copy of the Stroboframe 350 bracket. The copy is in my opinion 100% equal in quality at a fraction of the price of the Stroboframe. I also have the PROMASTER TTL OFF CAMERA CORD made for pentax. This setup works very well and I highly recommend it. I purchased from the links below, both were good to deal with.

Hope this helps
