S-ttl???

Hi,

Im looking at getting a Sigma 530 and it says it has TTL and S-TTL.. now what it the world is S-TTL???

That is for Sigma cameras, you need P-TTL for Pentax.

Yes it would, unless you have a Sigma camera. Unless it is being nearly given away you shouldn't bother with it, they make a Sigma 530 for Pentax with P-TTL and it isn't very expensive.

maybe you could help me im looking for a cheap p-ttl flash for my K5 like i dont even care how low the guide is just so i can have quick flash set up

Here is pretty much the best guide for P-TTL:

I'm a manual flash user, with a Yongnuo YN-560 and a Vivitar 285HV. I'd probably go for a Metz if I wanted P-TTL.
