Make you own Intervalometer

Radio Shack has a DIY project to make an intervalometer. Here is a link to the project

I have not looked closely at it and do not know the cost of the components. Looks like a neat project and I wanted to share it here.

You could build that much simpler than using an expensive microcontroller development board, a 555 timer that even RipoffShack sells for only $1.99 can do that. A 555, capacitor, couple resistors and a potentiometer would be more than enough to do the timing and no programming needed.

Of course, you can do what I did and get one of these and have a lot more functionality:
