Eyecup keeps falling out

I started using a sling type strap recently. It hangs the camera upside down at my side. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that the eyecup on my K20D was missing. I bought and installed a replacement, but yesterday when I was out shooting it fell off too. Fortunately I happened to see it lying on the ground and retrieved it. I would like to find some reversible way of securing the eyecup to the camera. I don't want to glue it in, or do anything permanent. The O-ME53 on my K-x seems more securely held, but I would hate to lose it in the same way. Has anyone heard of this, or know of a solution?

It should be possible to put a little wedge of plastic like a little bit cut from a microwave dinner, or even tape there, (try to get it in on top of the hotshoe rather than between the places where you want things to align.) I like my KPS eyepiece cause it basically clamps down. I use the Pentax version on an MZ-series film camera and it stays on nicely, a nyway, though. (It has to be able to move to load film, though)
