Adapter Question

A question from a Newbe.

I'm waiting for the arrival of my first DSLR, a Pentax *istDL that should be here soon. My question is: I have three old lenses from and old Pentax 35mm. I believe the mount is the "42mm Pentax screw" type. Will I need and adapter ring for these? If so whats it called and where can I find one?

thanks to anyone who can help.

tex

Yes, you need to get an adapter to make screwmount lenses to work with the K-mount's bayonet.

A quick search has reveiled that B&H stocks adapters at about $15 a pop.

General Brand | Pentax-K Body to Universal Lens Adapter | B&H Here's the link.

You can google for other sources, if that's your fancy.
