If this thread needs to be moved, I understand. I have no where idea where this would fit in.

I'm going to be in San Diego, CA tomorrow and was wondering what shop(s) would be best to look at/purchase some equipment.

My main focus is to purchase a new camera bag so I guess I want to go somewhere that has a good/great selection. My other interest is looking at some Pentax lenses.

I know there are a lot of camera shops in the San Diego area, but I really want to make sure I go to a good one. I will be driving through San Diego (through the 8) and then up the 5 (to Balboa).

I haven't been there in about 5 years, but last time I was it was a pretty good place. I just checked their website. No Pentax stuff . They should have bags though and maybe some used Pentax stuff.

Not surprising. The only retailer in NYS outside of NYC listed on pentaximaging.com doesn't sell Pentax anymore either.

Nelson's Photo, on India Street in the Little Italy section of San Diego, has a large selection of bags.

About the only other option for a real camera store, also with a large collection of bags, is George's, on 30th Street, just off University Ave.

Both are good stores.
