quick release plates RC5 vs MH601/611

Quick question: are the Manfrotto/Bogen RC5 plates compatible with the MH601/611 from Giottos?

I'm asking this because I lost my MH601 plate for my MH-621 adapter...and all I can get locally is a RC5 plate.

Any help will be appreciated...thanks!

I doubt it, only time there is any cross manufacturer compatibility is of one brand is a generic copy of the other. Why not just get a replacement from Adorama, they ship free and it's probably cheaper than a Manfrotto plate: Giottos MH-601 Quick Release Spare Plate MH601
