Thank you Pär!
I saw you made some upgrades as well
Bought a small Pentax related gift to you when I was in Japan. You will get it when you are back in Beijing again
Have a great time in Sweden!
See you in back in Beijing

Cheers Josef

  • A Paul Buff Einstein or two
  • A Paul Buff Vagabond Mini power pack for outdoor shooting
  • An 8x10 view camera, a Sinar maybe
  • Some platinum/palladium chemistry for making prints
  • And a Pentax Full Frame DSLR if it ever emerges

I'm thinking planning to buy is counter productive and does not sit well with LBA, no plans, just do it.

Actually quite a lot.
-likely a K30 and 18-135 for my daughter as a graduation present as well as stopping her from borrowing my cameras
-just ordered, not yet received, a Q and PK-P/Q adaptor.
-once I finish with playing with my 55 lenses on the Q, I intend to explore the world of Any Camera System to Q adaptors LBA here I come

The next aps-c body and the 1.4 tc. If I hit the jackpot I'll get a 500mm of some sort, probably a sigma.

I've got everything I need for my k-5 as far as lenses. I would like another Metz flash or two. Also would like to get the 06 lens for my Q . Honestly , other than the standards (SD cards, batteries, business) that's about it.
Nothing quite like seeing a Metz 76 attached to a Pentax - even if it the Pentax K-01. I've also seen a few genius level modified Quantum made to work with a Pentax - unfortunately nothing stock just yet.

Btw the way this may be the last year for the Metz 76; it is most likely going to be replaced with a similar type of flash with a GN that is about 90++ higher - ouch

A Rokinon (or Samyang etc.) 14 mm f1:2.8
A 2X tele converter of some sort

Actually, hopefully I won't have to buy it (birthday's coming up and my beautiful wife is pretty awesome).
Speaking of LBA I hadn't planned on buying much this year but have already bought (some I didn't expect to win with what I thought were low bids on ebay).

K110D and kit 18-55 which have now sold again
Sigma 28-200 which I think I'm going to sell
A "Focal MC" branded 135 f1:2.8 which is turning out to be an absolute gem!

Buy it, it's the best PENTAX DSLR so far!

I have not buy anything (glass, camera) yet this year, money was to buy the PENTAX Full Frame, and a FF zoom lens.
I start looking into C/N FF camera now and doing some cost analysis, thinking of 1 FF camera + 30mm or 50mm, and 85mm prime.

Just got a Kenko KAX 2X converter (one with electrical contacts but no AF) for AU$28 including postage so I'll scratch that one off the list!
