Gasoline. For Monument Valley. It's pretty far from St. Louis.

K-3 APS-C pro-level body and 1.4X SDM TC. By spring, please! I thought the K-3 would be announced at CP+.

Technically I've already bought an O-GPS1 this year even though it was ordered in early December.

I think for the rest of the year i'm looking for;

1) a decent tripod
2) a decent ball head
$700-$800 total

3) maybe a padded belt of some description "Thinktank"?
4) maybe a body bag/lens pouch to go with it
under $100 total

I was using 2 bodies for the first time on the weekend and the unpadded waist band on my "fanny pack" was getting uncomfortable.

NO MORE LENSES - although I wouldn't mind a fast tele in the middle between 100 and 300.

No a lot of time for travelling/holidays this year aside from a camping weekend or two, with work being the way it is & kids at school.

Definitely will try to get out more in the local area and that is essentially $ FREE

Excited about my new K-5 IIs. Got my Siggy 17-70mm 2.8-4 on pre-order. Siggy 70mm 2.8 macro will be here tomorrow. Would like to look at a longer lens as well and maybe a fast tele zoom. Perhaps the Pentax 300mm f4, and maybe another Siggy, the 70-200mm 2.8? Not sure but very excited for the possibilities. Also, battery grip, and a flash of some sort...

Well, let's see. So far, I've bought an SMC Pentax-A 20mm 1:2.8, but I haven't received it yet.

After that, I lack k mount 85/1.4, 135mm and 80-200/2.8 to be mostly FF ready. But wether I'll buy all those this year or wait for replacements is another question. Another flash and a light tent for product shots would be nice. And the 645 120mm macro. Maybe the A 15mm. I guess I've still got options left to me.

This is what I want to buy, not sure if it will be in 2013:

To feed my LBA:

- Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 AF APO DG OS HSM Telephoto Zoom Lens
- Pentax 100mm f/2.8 WR D FA smc Macro Lens
- Pentax DA 300mm F/4 ED (IF) SDM
- Pentax DA 35mm f/2.4 AL Lens

(This are all similar focal lengths, so not sure if I need them all, but the Tamron is fast, I like fast! ):
- Pentax 50-200mm f/4-5.6 ED WR Telephoto Zoom Lens
- Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro Lens
- Sigma 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM
- Pentax DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED Lens

This lens wouldn't fit in my budget either way, but is still on my wishlist:
- PENTAX telephoto HD PENTAX-DA560mmF5.6ED AW

Some other stuff:
- Benro MeFoto A1350Q1T Transfunctional Tripod Kit (Titanium)
- Pentax AF540FGZ Flash
- Pentax GPS Unit O-GPS1
- Camera Rain Cover (for when I'm not using a WR lens)
- Lowepro Slingshot 302AW (have a 100AW, but it's a bit small)

That's it.... for now!

B

Buy tickets to travel for shoots. Haha. I have a few talented and interesting friends around the US, I have the gear, I just need to get the money for flight + lodging and carefully manage my vacation time.
If they are real friends and not forum or facebook friends, then the lodging part should be taken care of!

+10,000,000 on the 1.4x TC. Yes, yes please! That +300mm f4 would make my world a happy place.

Haha very true, but my NYC friend is living with her cousin - who is married and all - so it's not really convenient for me or her.

And hey! If you don't mind hosting a PF-er for a few days... I'd die to go to Calif for a shoot or two
