Technically I've already bought an O-GPS1 this year even though it was ordered in early December.

I think for the rest of the year i'm looking for;

1) a decent tripod
2) a decent ball head $700-$800 total

3) maybe a padded belt of some description "Thinktank"?
4) maybe a body bag/lens pouch to go with it
under $100 total

I was using 2 bodies for the first time on the weekend and the unpadded waist band on my "fanny pack" was getting uncomfortable.

NO MORE LENSES - although I wouldn't mind a fast tele in the middle between 100 and 300.

No a lot of time for travelling/holidays this year aside from a camping weekend or two, with work being the way it is & kids at school.

Definitely will try to get out more in the local area and that is essentially $ FREE
Since we're updating , I accidentally bought a Q twin lens kit for some fun
Now so I'll have to find a Q K adapter.

A new weatherproof jacket would be good, since it has rained 3 out of 4 days this camping trip. :-(

Will be making an order sometime in July for:
1) whatever the highest end body excluding the 645D.
2) If the above is still the K5 IIs, then the genuine battery grip
3) spare battery
4) DA 15mm
5) 2x Sandisk 8gb card (the 95mb/s one)
6) maybe a filter or two

Little treat to myself providing I pass an important exam on my way into working as a junior officer on cargo ships. Have an MX and two M series primes so this will by first step (or leap) into digital

UPDATE:

IF
I finally decide Film has given up on me (rumors in my work world are the stock of consumer-packaged Kodak films is about 2 years, and won't be replenished because movie film is rapidly being replaced by digital) and IF I manage to sell everything I own except the K-01, THEN I will buy all three FA Limiteds and the FF when it finally arrives; ELSE I'll just keep filling little accessory gaps in my 3-Kings Film camera kit.

For me:

Already got a tripod (Benro A1350Q1, DA 35mm, maybe one (functional?) Pentax MX and one Pentax ME with SMC 28mm and SMC 50mm but what is left is:

A Q or K-01
Spare batteries for the Q or the K-01
Tamron 10-24mm

And depending on my job situation... K-30/K-5 Classic... We will see...
After our trip to Japan I couldn't resist to spend...

It became a used yellow/white Q-10 with the 02 lens for my wife, a blue K-30 with 18-135mm WR for me and also the Tamron 10-24mm
I got an amazing deal for the K-30 with the 18-135mm so I had to buy it. Got a brand new K-30 and brand new 18-135mm WR for around 780 Usd with a protection filter and screen protector.

Will post pictures later from our trip

A WR body of some sort. I'm still not sure if it's going to be a used body or a new one, but it's going to have to happen this year, definitely. I'm losing money not having a body I can lug to the beach et all, shrug. Not planning on much else. I've put a serious dent in them but I'm still paying off vet bills from my boy from last year. From him being sick then finally having to put him down. His illness cost me almost exactly what a K-30 and the 18-135 kit goes for last year. He was my boy and I dearly loved him, but oh the irony. That cat over the years I spent enough on him to buy a used mobile home or a good used car. I put off dental work I needed, several times, lost a tooth trying to keep him healthy. No kidding. He was a fighter but he was seriously sick several times in 13 years and he cost me a small fortune over his lifetime. Last year I also had car stuff and house stuff and I ended up sick myself. It was a bad year for unexpected bills.

This year is going a bit better except for me being sick again. I think I can squeeze out the $$$ for a body, but which body and new or used will greatly depend upon what happens the rest of this year. I want a K-30 or maybe a K-5 but I might have to grab something less expensive for now. Next year I might do a used copy of the 18-135 WR to go with. After that I want a proper lens cabinet for my lenses but that's going to take me a while yet though once I have a WR body I expect my income will rise a fair bit and it all might come sooner because of that. But that's all I really need. That's an essential that body, but the rest can wait. My studio is fairly well equipped otherwise for my needs. I'm not into collecting gear just to collect it. Once I have a WR body with the K-x as backup, that lens, and a cabinet I'll be set for a good long while. Might put some more $$$ into making/buying some more props, but that's an ongoing thing, and only takes a little time and work at a time. It's not like the expense of buying gear....

I've got everything I need for my k-5 as far as lenses. I would like another Metz flash or two. Also would like to get the 06 lens for my Q . Honestly , other than the standards (SD cards, batteries, business) that's about it.

I picked up a New Gimble Head for my Heavy Lenses and a Carry Speed CS-Pro Mark II Heavy Duty Strap. I think these will help on our trip to the Blues Fest in Jacksonville Fl. friday.

If finances allow, I'm wanting to go wider this year. Wider than the 18-55 kit lens, at least. Something along the lines of a Sigma 10-20, Samyang, Rokinon, etc. 14mm/2.8, or even a nice copy of a DA 16-45. Also planning on sending my Spotmatic II to Eric to fix a sticking mirror & general CLA.

Nothing, or Sigma 100-300/4 if I find a good deal. I'm saving my pennies for the FF in a couple years.
