Does the nikon one also register the direction like the Pentax?

I had to look up WAAS. It provides increased accuracy, which I would imagine is helpful for serious navigation. Maybe not so important for just geotagging alone.

Nkion users will just have to watch where they step, while they are out shooting on the trail.
