Another option is the Tenba Messenger bags or Tenba backpacks. (I just went through a long search and went with a Tenba Photo/Laptop Messenger Mini since I only need space for a 13" tablet. Haven't received it yet... Reviews for the quality of both the Vanguard and Tenba lines are excellent.)
