Looking to get one of those extension "tripod" that allow you to take selfie photo for a up coming trip...not sure if there is a technical term for it.
mainly use it for the GoPro that I plan to bring along to take some photos with my wife.... setting up tripod every time sometime seem troublesome, especially for recording purposes.

and a similar product call XPod. Do you use one? welcome other recommendations!
I guess the important attributes are: the extension bar and the angle adjustment stay where they should strong, and lightweight (easy for storage).
