Gloves

We don't get the extreme cold here in the UK, but I still like to keep my hands warm and dry. I've had a pair of these Sealskinz for a few years and like them a lot. There are no big seams on the fingers, they fit very well, and they do the job extremely well.

Winter Gloves : SealSkinz?

I wear light knitted finger mitts (bare from the top knuckle),
and then use thick regular gloves over that
for when I'm not operating camera controls.
(Never liked the "flip-top" mitts.)

I usually try to keep the camera under a coat.
Another trick is to keep a warm set of batteries close to your body,
ready to change out when your first set gives up the ghost.

Well this was an interesting thread, I opted in the end for a pair of blackhawk gloves, not very warm but extremely dexterous and when combined with knit gloves that extend only to the knuckles; this proves to be an effective method for cold temps. Doubt it will work much for under 10c, ....

I've tried a bunch, but never found gloves that worked for me. I've decided that I just need those mittens where you can pull your hand out for a bit, then put it back inside the mitten.
