Pentax K-3 Power Adapter

I was going to do some time-lapse photography the other day, and realized that I didn't have the power to do what I wanted to do. I know that I could get the extra grip with a second battery, but the K-3 has a port to plug it in to power. Since I was inside, that would have been perfect, and a lot cheaper than the extra grip. Of course, it doesn't come with an adapter, and I can't find one on B&H or Ricoh's site.

Do they actually make a power adapter to plug my camera into the wall?

Pentax Canada lists AC Adapter Kit K-AC132U Model No. 38780as an accessory for the K-3. B&H has it listed as Pre-order.

Finding Pentax accessories is problematic. The Pentax Web Store is worthless and even the best online dealers seldom list all the items that are available. The telephone is our friend. A call to the local dealer or someplace like B&H will usually result in the found part.

I wonder if the K-5/K-5II power adapter will work? That might make it easier to find something to use.

I mean, K-5/K-5II/K-3 all use the same battery, and the plugs on the side of the K-5 and K-3 look the same, and both read 'DC In 8.3V'.

The K-5 and K-5ii/K-3 cameras supposedly take different adapters.
K-5: K-AC50, and
K-5ii/K-3: K-AC132.

Does anyone know the difference between the AC50 and the AC132? Since I have an AC50 for my K20D and K-5, I would like to avoid spending more money to get an AC132 if possible.

Problem seems to be solved.

From our friends and cohorts: AC adapters

BTW, if you do need to buy the K-AC132, the same adapter (D-AC120) can be found in the K-AC128 (for the K-30) or the K-AC1202U (for the K-01) for $10 less. [from the In The Box info at B&H].
