I sometimes find it more useful to use an ND grad to slightly darken the sky with a very wide lens vs. the polarizer, since it seems to take a lot of work in PP to try to make the sky look normal if you use a polarizer. Or you can just do the ND grad in PP, so long as no area of the sky is bright enough to blow out, but it seems like I often need help from an actual filter for that, especially with the older sensors. I suppose you could always clone sky areas in PP, but I'm not that good at making that look "normal."
