Nikon K3 Split-image focus screen

Hi all,

I have read on another forum that you can actually use Nikon K3 split-image focus screen in Pentax DSLRs (not too sure on *ist D-series or on the K-series). Just wondering if anyone has tried it?

cheers
Kenny

I use one in mine. But I am not sure if its original or if it has been cut. I would find it quite likely that it has been cut since the FM3 that it was made for is a FF film camera. I bought it second hand so I dont know if it has been modified or not

And how's it working? Any changes in exposure values? Which camera are you using it on and hows the focus with it both MF/AF? I'd heard a few times they fit right in with out any mods but was never able to confirm that.
