Bogen 3011 tripod questions...

I found a used Bogen 3011 tripod for $60 on the local Craigslist site. According to the poster, it's missing a handscrew and a mounting plate. Are those easy to get a hold of?

The mounting plate (quick-release plate?) costs about $14 new. The handscrew is harder to come by. I guess you can try contacting the distributor (Nikon I believe) about it. The other thing you can do temporarily is purchase (from a hardware store) a wing-nut/bolt combination in that size. I've done the wing-nut thing and it works fine though it's harder on the hands. Costs about $2.
