I have just adapted a Sony LCD Hood Finder DSAC-MVC to my K01 and it works really well.

Support for DSAC-MVC | Sony

This hood finder is a very old device picked up in a camera lot I bought the other day. As it was still in its box it had mounted on it a plastic protective piece that was ideal for acting as a mounting frame glued to the camera. All I had to do was cut out a square in the plastic protective piece and wha la

The hood magnifies and at the same time shields light. With focus peaking I can really zoom in and get great focus for macro work.

Perhaps there are better hoods out there but this one came 'free' and once adapted exceeded my expectations.

Hope that helps

And it looks like you may be able to get one from KEH - apparently it has a prism in it???

Worth a try? All you have to do is be good with a stanley knife or similar and have some patience.

It might, though the magnification feature of Liveview might work as well. Ditto for focus peaking. I am assuming that you are wanting to use this for other than hand-held shooting? If so, another solution is to use a low-power (2x-4x) magnifying loupe. That is the time-honored tradition used for fine focus on the ground glass of a view camera.

Vejas, if you click the Ok button in Live View you get a magnified image for free.
