There is an alternative to eyepiece projection, if you can 'live' with more modest magnifications. You can use ordinary teleconverters between T2-ring and camera, a so-called Barlow lens (a tele-negative lens much like a teleconverter) between scope and T2-ring, and even combinations of both:
Here you see the combination from camera and out: 2X Teleconverter + T2-ring with (hidden) 1.25" nosepiece +2.5X apochromatic Barlow. On my 4"/1000mm Newtonian that gives me an effetive focal length of some 5,800 mm. You may read a bit more and see some examples here:
