Right, this was actually sunrise and I had left the pack at camp for a little early hike.
But when I was hiking in the night before I got some backlit shots along the trail that I'm happy with that might not have happened as I was trying to get to and set up camp before dark (and also shoot sunset).

Nice shot! :-) . the soft case in the backpack worked great for me this weekend, quite versatile and quick enough access to get some passing hawk shots :-) . Kept it at the top of my pack, and I did cruise about 30 miles with just the soft case - it was really nice to have that option.
