cover for camera

https://flic.kr/p/oC7u7F][/url]

I have a sigma 135-400 that put in a lens case. I took a picture of the camera and lens in the lens case. I want to cover the camera while in the lens case. any suggestion on how to cover the camera body? I was thinking of using a lens wrap on the camera and lens case

A "chalk bag" inverted over the camera body and cinched? Try some flat grippy stuff cut from one of those commercial sheets, secured around the lens case circumference where you'll be cinching tight the bag's open end. I haven't tried this... just a small, off the top brainstorm... but I don't see how it could get much more simple and convenient. Line the bag you choose with appropriate cushioning material, if you think it's needed.

Put the whole thing in a Nylon Turkey Roaster bag. Press photographers have been using these for years in to protect gear and shoot in bad weather.

Any supermarket, Walmart or even Amazon Nylon Turkey Bags

Ahhh... I hadn't heard of this one, and I've been around for quite awhile. I had a friend who always liked to read 'Hints from Heloise' in the newspaper just for the laughs! Say, you're the kindly grey-haired Helen Crump of Parks & Rec, Photo Ed. Division, aren't you?

I learned about this about 5 years ago in a presentation from a newspaper photographer with 20+ years of experience on a major newspaper. Hurricanes, NFL games, etc.

I watch very little TV and have never seen the program so I'll have to trust you on that except I'd be gender challenged, I'm male.

Ha, ha, the final "e" threw me off! I'm in the same state presently regarding the TV (mostly on account of a very necessary and "incipient" house remodeling project I've been procrastinating over far, far too long, I'm afraid). But, gee, North Carolina and no Andy Griffith? I would have guessed that wasn't possible there in the local environs. 😄

The local environs are a lot more Research Triangle Park than Mt Airy.
