Interesting stuff. Can't find any mention of the battery capacity or how long it should run, but the prices are really good ($220 for a 2TB version!).

Strangely, it seems that the entire control interface is handled through a web browser on a connected device, so a third device (phone, tablet, computer) is needed to even tell the drive to copy the SD card contents.
I just purchased the RawPower 5 in 1 last week and then I saw the WD wifi solution - looked perfect. Then I saw the price - nah. The RawPower provides more flexibility at a much lower cost - albeit at the sacrifice of having an extra item to carry around (5 in 1 plus hard drive.

The 5 in 1 is exactly what I have been looking for: providing me the ability to back up SD cards without having to bring a laptop - phone or iPad will do. Thank you to the OP!

Me too. An Acer Aspire One. It's a handy little device.

This just got announced and seems like something I have been waiting for... I have something similar made by small company that does not have SD card slot.

My Passport Wireless
A good deal pricier than a RavPower plus HD, but it is a neat package all in one. Worth a look.

You are welcome. Be sure to install the firmware upgrade. The unit is far more reliable with the upgrade.
